Detailed description of Riverwood National Golf Course
Riverwood National Golf Course is a Semi-Private 18-hole golf course located just 3 miles north of the Outlets at Albertville, 15 minutes from the I-94/ I-694 intersection, and 45 minutes from the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport.in Monticello, Minnesota.
Riverwood National Golf Course opened for play in 2006. The course was designed by David Kirscht.
Black Tees: par-72, 7,014 yards, 73.7 / 140
Blue Tees: par-72, 6,484 yards, 70.8 / 135
White Tees: par-72, 5,996 yards, 69.4 / 131
Red Tees: par-72, 4,789 yards, 67.8 / 115

Lots of difficulty here if you don't hit straight and keep in the fairway. I normally shoot 95 for 18 but didn't break 100 here. Probably due to 8 penalty strokes for balls hit into hazards or the plentiful woods

This course is in fantastic shape! Really fun, challenging layout for all levels of golf. Stretching it out really brings all the hazards into play, while moving up a set of tees provides a completely different look at most holes. Very good experience, this is coming from a 2 handicap that has played most of the courses in the metro area. BEST COURSE FOR THE PRICE! I will guarantee that.
